PAUL W RUIZ

Melbourne artist Paul W Ruiz’ paintings gently lure the viewer to a place where contemplation and reflection of the human psyche transpires. Influenced by early South American iconic portraiture and modern European painting, Ruiz’ assured sense of light and colour produces quiet yet powerful imagery of a world in which art history collides with human frailty.

Paul W Ruiz completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Melbourne University in 1996. Ruiz has held five solo exhibitions with Lindberg Galleries, Melbourne
